The idea of muscle fibers. Drawing inspiration from chaotic order being as one.
When it comes to anything in nature, everything has its own rhythm and flow. The running of a river or the root of a tree will all flow how ever it wants. Such Rhythm is something no one can exactly create or imitate. It’s natural beauty. In the usage of zip tie, I observed that even though its a modular object, its characteristics are similar. It cannot be easily manipulated and will bend however it wants to bend. As I looked at the site, being the wood, I envisioned a river and a school of salmon or flying fish. As the fish swim upstream, then flow in and out of the water. They swim along with the current. With this idea, the zipties was made to go with the flow of the wood. It mimics the rhythm of the wood and weaves in and out to clearly bring out the movement. This process accents and brings out the beauty of the site rather than fight it. Nature has its own divinitive design and to strengthen that is to accent it rather than fight it. The idea is to follow the order of the Divine.
